Before we go on, we first need to understand What is Marketing?
Marketing, as defined by Philip Kotler (who is known as the Father of Marketing) is “the science and art of exploring, creating, and delivering value to satisfy the needs of a target market at a profit. Marketing identifies unfulfilled needs and desires. It defines, measures and quantifies the size of the identified market and the profit potential. It pinpoints which segments the company is capable of serving the best and its designs and promotes the appropriate products and services.”
And with the advent of Digitalization, a new form of marketing evolved in the digital world i.e. Digital Marketing. The basic mantra remains the same, recognizing customer’s pain points and desires, selling and market the products and services via digital platforms available.
